Ingredients For cornflake salisbury steak

    lean ground beef
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 1 c
    cornflakes, crushed into crumbs
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1-2 dash
    black pepper
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    beef broth (or vegetable broth or water)
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil (for browning the patties)

How To Make cornflake salisbury steak

    Combine the lean ground beef, egg, chopped onion, milk, cornflake crumbs, salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties. Roll in flour and brown in hot oil.

    Place in a baking dish; combine the cream of mushroom soup and broth, then pour over the meat patties.

    Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until cooked through.
