hamburger browned and drained
1 can(s)
all vegetables drained
1 can(s)
tomatoes, i like italian style. sliced type, don't drain
1 pkg
yellow cornbread mix

How to Make Cornbread Casserole


  • 1Brown hamburger and drain. Place in casserole dish. Add drained can of all veg., canned tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste.
  • 2In separate bowl mix cornbread according to directions. Pour over the top of hamburger mixture.
  • 3Bake according to cornbread directions. It's usually something like 400 for 17-20. You want your cornbread golden brown.
  • 4You can also add onions and garlic. Have kids at home that won't touch those. So I sneak in onion or garlic salt.
