  • 1 lb
    hamburger browned and drained
  • 1 can(s)
    all vegetables drained
  • 1 can(s)
    tomatoes, i like italian style. sliced type, don't drain
  • 1 pkg
    yellow cornbread mix

How to Make Cornbread Casserole


  1. Brown hamburger and drain. Place in casserole dish. Add drained can of all veg., canned tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In separate bowl mix cornbread according to directions. Pour over the top of hamburger mixture.
  3. Bake according to cornbread directions. It's usually something like 400 for 17-20. You want your cornbread golden brown.
  4. You can also add onions and garlic. Have kids at home that won't touch those. So I sneak in onion or garlic salt.
