- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1/2 can water
- 12 ounces whole kernel corn, vacuum-packed drained
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper chopped
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 package cornbread mix
- 1 can french fried onions
- 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make corn bread taco bake

Step 1Brown meat; drain.

Step 2Stir in next 5 ingredients; pour into a 8x12 inch baking dish.

Step 3Prepare cornbread mix according to package directions, except add 1/2 can french fried onions.

Step 4Spoon around outer edge of casserole.

Step 5Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 6Top with remaining onions and cheese.

Step 7Bake for 2 to 3 minutes longer.
