taco seasoning
1/2 can(s)
12 oz
whole kernel corn, vacuum-packed drained
1/2 c
green bell pepper chopped
8 oz
tomato sauce
1 pkg
cornbread mix
1 can(s)
french fried onions
1/3 c
shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Corn Bread Taco Bake


  • 1Brown meat; drain.
  • 2Stir in next 5 ingredients; pour into a 8x12 inch baking dish.
  • 3Prepare cornbread mix according to package directions, except add 1/2 can french fried onions.
  • 4Spoon around outer edge of casserole.
  • 5Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • 6Top with remaining onions and cheese.
  • 7Bake for 2 to 3 minutes longer.
