  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 1/2 can(s)
  • 12 oz
    whole kernel corn, vacuum-packed drained
  • 1/2 c
    green bell pepper chopped
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg
    cornbread mix
  • 1 can(s)
    french fried onions
  • 1/3 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Corn Bread Taco Bake


  1. Brown meat; drain.
  2. Stir in next 5 ingredients; pour into a 8x12 inch baking dish.
  3. Prepare cornbread mix according to package directions, except add 1/2 can french fried onions.
  4. Spoon around outer edge of casserole.
  5. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
  6. Top with remaining onions and cheese.
  7. Bake for 2 to 3 minutes longer.
