I have no idea where this recipe originated. It's been in my original hand-written cookbook for at least thirty years. It easy to make and simply good home cookin' . Hope you enjoy:)

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds round steak
- 1 can mushroom soups
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon laury's seasoning
- 1 - onion, sliced diagnoly
- 1/2 - red or yellow or green pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 cup kentucky kernal four
- - salt and pepper
- 3 tablespoons crisco oil
- - rice or noodles.
How To Make yummy round steak and mushrooms- connie's

Step 1Cut steak into serving pieces.

Step 2In a large plastic bag, add flour, paprika and Laury's seasoning.

Step 3Place steaks into bag and shake.

Step 4Pound steak while still in the bag.

Step 5Put oil into frying pan.

Step 6Add steaks (shake extra flour from each steak) to frying pan and brown on both sides.

Step 7Add sliced onion and green, yellow or red peppers. Cook until tender.

Step 8Mix mushroom soup, 1 can water and canned mushrooms together in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.

Step 9Add mushroom mixture to steak and salt and pepper to taste.

Step 10Simmer on stove for two hours, stirring occasionally.

Step 11Enjoy over rice or noodles!
