classic meatloaf
My dad absolutely loves meatloaf especially this classic, accept he likes it without the Ketchup (He hates ketchup it reminds him of blood)

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 3 eggs lightly beaten
- 1 medium onion,finely chopped
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon fennel seed
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme, marjoram, or oregano
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
How To Make classic meatloaf

Step 1Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and knead the mixture with your hands until thoroughly combined.

Step 2Transfer the mixture to a 9x5x3-inch (23x13x8 cm) loaf pan or form into a loaf on a baking sheet.

Step 3Bake in a preheated 350F (180C) oven until the center of the loaf reads 160F (70C) on an instant-read thermometer, about 1 to 1 1/4 hours.

Step 4Drain off the excess fat and let stand for 15 minutes before cutting into slices.
