Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cups water
- 15 ounces can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 hershey's dark chocolate nuggets
- 4 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon each oregano and ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 2 bay leaves
- salt and pepper
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- shredded sharp cheddar cheese for serving
How To Make cincinnati chili

Step 1Add the oil to a large saucepan. Add the onion and sugar & season with some salt. saute until softened. Add the garlic and ground beef. Add more salt Cook until beef is browned. Add the water, tomato sauce, vinegar, tomato paste, chili powder, oregano, cinnamon, and allspice. Bring to a simmer. Add the Hershey nugget and let it melt. Add the bay leaves and simmer for 30 minutes until thickened. Remove the bay leaves and taste and adjust for salt and pepper.

Step 2Meanwhile cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until el dente. Serve the sauce over the spaghetti and topped with cheese
