No one in my family growing up were ever seafood lovers, so this is a chowder with beef & red sauce instead. It's even better after it's been in the refrigerator for a few days!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 - green pepper, chopped
- 14 ounces can of petite diced tomatoes, undrained
- 14 ounces can of kidney beans, drained
- 1 jar ragu spaghetti sauce, traditional flavor

How To Make chowder

Step 1Brown meat. Sautee onion with meat about five minutes. Drain.

Step 2Return meat & onions to pot. Add sauce, tomatoes, green pepper, kidney beans & a pinch of sugar. Check taste to see if it's salty/sweet enough. Cook on low for 2 hours.

Step 3Add uncooked macaroni. Cook another 30 minutes on low.
