Ingredients For chinese chow mein loaf

2 lbground pork

2 ccelery, cut 1/2 inch pieces

2onion, chopped

1 crice
-
1 cancream of mushroom soup

1 cancream of celery soup

1/4 cmilk
-
1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper
-
1 canchow mein noodles
How To Make chinese chow mein loaf

1Brown the ground pork in deep skillet until it is all separated.

2Add the celery and onion.

3Cook over low heat until the onion is transparent and glazed.

4Meanwhile, place the rice in 2 cups of water and cook for 15 minutes, or until fluffy and tender.

5Rinse the rice in warm water, drain and add to the hamburger mixture.

6Stir in the mushroom soup and celery soup.

7Add the milk, salt and pepper.

8Mix all very thoroughly.

9Put into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole; sprinkle the chow mein noodles over the top.

10Place in a 350 oven for 30 minutes.

11Serve with soy sauce if desired.
