Ingredients

1 lb
lean ground beef
1 tsp
cumin
1 tsp
crushed oregano
1/2 tsp
salt
2 Tbsp
cider vinegar
1/2
can of diced green chilis (small can)
1/4 c
bottle taco sauce
1/4 c
sour cream
6
10 inch flour taco shells
1/2 c
butter
colby or cojack cheese

How to Make Chimichangas

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
    Brown beef and spices, Drain
  • 2Add green chilis,taco sauce, sour cream, and vinegar. Mix and cool
  • 3melt the butter in a pan. dip both sides of tortilla in butter. drain over pan
  • 4Mound 1/3 cup or so of filling in center of tortilla and wrap and fold
  • 5place seam side down on ungreased cookie sheet
  • 6Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes or until crispy
  • 7remove from oven, top with cheese and return to oven for 5 minutes or so
