This is a recipe i created for a church mexican theme dinner

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 12 - 8 inch torillas
  • 1 can green chillies
  • 1 package white shreded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 1/2 cups old el paso taco sauce
  • - sour cream
  • - heavy cream

How To Make chimichangas

  • Step 1
    brown the beef in a skillet, drain, stir in chilis and taco sauce, simmer 5 min.
  • Step 2
    spoon 1/4 cup of meat mixture along one side of tortillas, fold in sides and roll up and secure with a tookpick
  • Step 3
    deep fry in 350 degree deep fryer, drain. melt cheese with a little cream and butter. top with cheese sauce,sour cream and onions
