Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 - onion,chopped
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 - 15 ounce can red kedney beans,drained
- 1 pound frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make chili pie with hash browns

Step 1Heat oven to 400 degrees. In saucepan warm oil and add onion,cheli powder,cumin,salt and pepper and cook 6 minutes.Stir often till onion is soft.

Step 2Stir in beef and cook till no longer pink.Add tomatoes and beans and simmer low heat,covered 10 minutes.Add water if needed.

Step 3Pour into 2 quart dish.Scatter potatoes over chili and sprinkle with cheese.

Step 4Bake for 35 minutes at 400 degrees till potatoes are cooked through.
