Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 - onion, thinly sliced
- 12 ounces whole kernel corn, vacuum-packed drained
- 8 ounces tomato sauce with cheese
- 16 ounces tomatoes, canned whole and undrained
- 1-2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup stuffed olives, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1.5 cups tortilla chips, crushed
How To Make chili pie

Step 1Crumble meat into a deep, 1 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole.

Step 2Add onions and heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 7 minutes or until meat is browned and onions are tender.

Step 3Stir occasionally.

Step 4Drain off excess fat.

Step 5Add corn, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder to taste and salt and pepper.

Step 6Stir to combine.

Step 7Heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 8Arrange olive slices on top of meat mixture and sprinkle with cheese.

Step 9Heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 3 minutes.

Step 10Sprinkle with tortilla chips and heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 1 minute.
