Ingredients
- 8 ounces large elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup onions (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 14 1/2 ounces canned tomatoes (chopped)
- 3 cups water
- 2 (8) ounces cans tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 15 1/2 ounces ranch style beans or pinto beans (optional)

Step 1Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in a 4 qt. saucepan; drain. Add tomatoes, water, tomato sauce and seasonings, bring to a boil. reduce heat to low. cover, simmer 10 minutes, stir in uncooked macaroni and beans. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
