Ingredients

  • 8 ounces large elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup onions (chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 14 1/2 ounces canned tomatoes (chopped)
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 (8) ounces cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 15 1/2 ounces ranch style beans or pinto beans (optional)

How To Make chili mac

  • Step 1
    Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in a 4 qt. saucepan; drain. Add tomatoes, water, tomato sauce and seasonings, bring to a boil. reduce heat to low. cover, simmer 10 minutes, stir in uncooked macaroni and beans. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
