1 large
can chili with beans
1 - 1 1/2 lb
lean ground beef
2
stalks celery, diced
1/2 medium
onion, chopped
Chili powder, to taste
Grated Cheese
Fritos, original

How to Make Chili-Frito Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown ground beef, celery and onion; drain. Add chili and chili powder. Simmer until heated through, adding a small amount of liquid, if necessary.
  • 2Spray casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • 3In prepared casserole dish, layer meat mixture, cheese, then fritos. Repeat, ending with fritos.
  • 4Bake at 350° until heated through and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
