- lean ground beef
- stalks celery, diced
- 1/2 medium
- onion, chopped
- Chili powder, to taste
- Grated Cheese
- Fritos, original
How to Make Chili-Frito Casserole
- 1Brown ground beef, celery and onion; drain. Add chili and chili powder. Simmer until heated through, adding a small amount of liquid, if necessary.
- 2Spray casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- 3In prepared casserole dish, layer meat mixture, cheese, then fritos. Repeat, ending with fritos.
- 4Bake at 350° until heated through and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
