Ingredients

  • 1 lg
    can chili with beans
  • 1 - 1 1/2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2
    stalks celery, diced
  • 1/2 md
    onion, chopped
  • ·
    Chili powder, to taste
  • ·
    Grated Cheese
  • ·
    Fritos, original

How to Make Chili-Frito Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground beef, celery and onion; drain. Add chili and chili powder. Simmer until heated through, adding a small amount of liquid, if necessary.
  2. Spray casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In prepared casserole dish, layer meat mixture, cheese, then fritos. Repeat, ending with fritos.
  4. Bake at 350° until heated through and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
