chili flank steak
I lost count how many times I gave this recipe to friends that have asked for it after eating it. This is one of the best sauces I've made that goes great with grilled meats.

How To Make chili flank steak
-
Step 1In a food processor or blender, combine the first seven ingredients; mix well. Pour half of the marinade into a large resealable bag; I usually hit the steak several times w/ a meat mallet on both sides using the rough side of mallet to loosen the meat tendons. Add the steak to bag and seal bag, turn to coat; refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade.

Step 2Drain and discard marinade from steak. Grill steak, covered, over medium-hot heat for 6-10 minutes on each side or until meat is grilled to your liking. Remove from grill and loosely cover it with foil and let rest for 5/10 minutes.

Step 3While steak is cooking place reserved marinade into a small sauce pan on low heat. Simmer marinade for about 10/20 minutes until it thickens a bit. Pour marinade into small serving cups for dipping sauce w/ steak. Enjoy!
