1heat the oil in a dutch oven on medium heat.. working in batches, add the beef, and saute, turning to brown on all sides for 3 min. transfer to a plate. add the chopped onions and saute for 3 min on medium heat, then add garlic. return the beef to the dutch oven. season with salt. stir in the chili powder, and oregano cook 1 min. stir in the boiling water reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
2add the olives and continue cooking until the beef is tender about an hour. taste, corect the seasoning if nessasery, then add the beans andheat through serve
