Ingredients
- 1 - onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 16 ounces canned tomatoes, undrained and chopped
- 1 can black olives, pitted and drained
- 12 ounces corn kernels, fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- - "just a pinch" of pepper
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
How To Make chili casserole

Step 1Brown onion in butter in skillet.

Step 2Add meat and brown.

Step 3Drain off fat.

Step 4Add remaining ingredients except cheese and mix.

Step 5Season.

Step 6Put in a 3 quart baking dish and sprinkle with cheese.

Step 7Bake at 350 for 40 to 50 minutes.
