Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 - onion chpped
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 can diced green chiles
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 jar chunky salsa
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 can pinto beans
How To Make kristens chocolate chili

Step 1Heat oil, add onion, and garlic cook til onions are clear.

Step 2Add beef, chiles, and seasoning mix. Cook until the meat is browned. Stir in tomatoes, salsa, water, chocolate chips, almonds, and cinnamon. Bring all of this to a boil, then simmer for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Add the pinto beans last and heat for 15 minutes longer.

Step 3Garnish with broken taco shells, cheese, sour cream, cilantro, or diced tomatoes.
