How to Make Chicken Fried Steak and Gravy
- 1Tenderize round steak. Dip in milk and then flour, salt and pepper to taste.
- 2Fry in deep fat at approximately 375 degrees until golden brown.
- 3After steak is done, pour off fat leaving about 4 tablespoons in pan.
- 4Add 4 tablespoons flour.
- 5Stir until smooth.
- 6Add 1 quart milk.
- 7Stir and cook until thickened for steak gravy.
