- 4 pounds round steak, 1/2" thick
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons pepper
- 4 teaspoons salt

- 1 quart milk

How To Make chicken fried steak and gravy

Step 1Tenderize round steak. Dip in milk and then flour, salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2Fry in deep fat at approximately 375 degrees until golden brown.

Step 3After steak is done, pour off fat leaving about 4 tablespoons in pan.

Step 4Add 4 tablespoons flour.

Step 5Stir until smooth.

Step 6Add 1 quart milk.

Step 7Stir and cook until thickened for steak gravy. Enjoy!
