cheezy meatloaf with homemade barbecue glaze
I made this meatloaf for the first time 38 years ago in 9th or 10th grade home economics class and have been making it ever since. I love it and I hope you do too.

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 - egg
- 1 1/4 cups grated cheese (i like colby jack or cheddar or sometimes just break up 3 or 4 slices of american)
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 cup crushed saltine crackers (or use cornflakes or canned bread crumbs)
- - salt and pepper to taste
- BARBEQUE GLAZE
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salad oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano or italian seasoning mix
How To Make cheezy meatloaf with homemade barbecue glaze

Step 1combine all ingredents for the meatloaf. press into greased or sprayed small bread pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. then spread the prepared barbeque glaze over the top and put back in oven for 15 minutes.

Step 2To prepare barbeque glaze. put all ingredents in small sauce pan. simmer about 20 minutes or until thickened.
