Use your favorite croutons or make your own. We made our own by cubing several leftover rolls and tossing them in a skillet with melted butter. Add your favorite seasoning, such as garlic powder, and toast until golden brown.
Also, adjust the ingredients of the "sauce" to suit your taste.
Add ketchup, mustards, and barbecue sauce. (Adjust taste as needed.) Heat through.
Serve meat mixture over lettuce. Top with cheese, tomatoes, pickles, onion, and croutons.
