When my children were small they requested this dinner often!They even loved to help make it!Fast,easy and inexpensive to make. If my memory serves me right, I believe this recipe came off of a can of Hunts Tomato Sauce back in the 70's!

Ingredients For cheeseburger casserole

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/4 c
    onion, chopped
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c
    catsup
  • 1/2 lb
    american cheese slices
  • 7 oz
    can pillsbury refridgerated buttermilk biscuits

How To Make cheeseburger casserole

  • 1
    Brown ground beef with onions. Drain fat.Add salt and pepper to taste, catsup and tomato sauce.

    Pour half into 7x11 baking dish. Top with cheese slices. Pour in remaining half. Top with biscuits.

    Bake at 400 degrees for approx. 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
