Ingredients
- 1/4 pound monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1 - fresh hot chile pepper
- 1 - tomato
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 2 teaspoons oil
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices crusty bread
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped coriander
How To Make cheese-stuffed burgers

Step 1Seed and chop the chile pepper and combine with the cheese and coriander.

Step 2Slice the tomato and set aside.

Step 3Shape the beef into 8 thin patties, put 1/4 of the cheese mixture in the center of 4 of the patties.

Step 4Top with remaining patties and pinch to seal.

Step 5Toast the bread.

Step 6Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the hamburgers 6-8 minutes over medium heat for medium rare.

Step 7Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 8Place cooked hamburgers on the toast and top with tomato slices and another slice of toast.
