Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 cup oatmeal, uncooked
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup moist breadcrumbs
- 1 cup swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make cheese mushroom meatballs

Step 1Combine ground beef, oatmeal, eggs and 1 teaspoon salt; mix well.

Step 2Set aside and combine remaining ingredients for filling.

Step 3Make patties of the ground beef mixture; flatten.

Step 4Add a spoonful of filling; make into balls.

Step 5Brown on all sides.

Step 6Mix 1 cup tomato juice and 1 can cream of mushroom soup; pour over meatballs; simmer 3/4 hour.
