Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal, uncooked
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup moist breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

How To Make cheese mushroom meatballs

  • Step 1
    Combine ground beef, oatmeal, eggs and 1 teaspoon salt; mix well.
  • Step 2
    Set aside and combine remaining ingredients for filling.
  • Step 3
    Make patties of the ground beef mixture; flatten.
  • Step 4
    Add a spoonful of filling; make into balls.
  • Step 5
    Brown on all sides.
  • Step 6
    Mix 1 cup tomato juice and 1 can cream of mushroom soup; pour over meatballs; simmer 3/4 hour.
