My husband loves this dish, he teases it tastes even better the next day as left overs.

Ingredients

  • 2 - 9 inch deep dish pie crust
  • 1 pound round round
  • 1 - small onion
  • 1/2 - green pepper
  • 1 cup fresh button mushrooms
  • 4 large eggs, whipped
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese ( your prefrence mild or sharp)
  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 6 slices bacon

How To Make cheese burger quiche

  • Step 1
    brown ground beef, once browned saute onion, green pepper, and mushrooms in beef drippings. Set aside. In a large bowl whisk 4 eggs add whipping cream and 1 cup of cheese add beef and veggies and mix well. Pour into pie shells, (makes 2) top with remaining cheese. Crumble cooked bacon on top.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 400 for 35-40 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is brown.
