I like to serve this with pork 'n beans, or some type of fresh veggie.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 1/4 cups freshly shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup bisquick
  • 1 cup milk
  • - this is the basic recipe, feel free to spice it up, add mushrooms, sliced tomatoes, or fresh garlic to taste!

How To Make cheese burger pie

  • Step 1
    Grease a 9 inch pie plate. Cook beef and onion until brown, and drain.
  • Step 2
    Spread meat and onion in prepared pie plate. Season with salt and pepper. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Step 3
    In a separate bowl mix eggs, Bisquick, and milk together, until well blended. Pour over the cheese layer.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
