Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 ounces slices american cheese
  • 12 slices cooked bacon
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 slices onion
  • - ketchup & mustard (optional)

How To Make cheese burger loaves

  • Step 1
    Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, and seasonings, mixing well; shape into 6 patties about 3/4-inch thick.
  • Step 2
    Place patties on a rack in broiler pan. Broil 5 inches from heat for 5 minutes on each side or until burgers reach desired doneness.
  • Step 3
    Place a slice of cheese on each burger and broil 20 seconds or until cheese melts.
  • Step 4
    Slice the bread legnthwise, then into 6 equal portions. Place bacon on bottom half of bread portions; top with cheeseburgers, tomato, onion, and top half of bread portions. Serve with ketchup and mustard.
