  • 5 lb
    chili grind beef ( i use only range fed hereford )
  • 1 pkg
    mortons chili blend
  • 1 bottle
    mexxene chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 bottle
    tabasco green pepper sauce
  • 1/2 bottle
    tabasco chipotle pepper sauce
  • 2 bottle
    hienz chili sauce
  • 6 can(s)
    tomato sauce ( 8oz.)
  • 1 can(s)
    chicken broth (14.5 oz)
  • 1 can(s)
    beef broth (14.5oz.)
  • 3 c
    water ( bottled)

How to Make Charlie's Almost famous Chili


  1. Put meat into your favorite Chili pot on medium high heat. gently brown meat.
  2. Add both chili blends into pot and mix with mest along with the onion and garlic powder. Stir to prevent burning of dry ingrediants.
  3. add the tabasco sauces and the broths.
  4. add tomato sauces and chili sauces stir in and let come to boil for 10 to 12 minutes
  5. Reduce heat to low boil and add wter to chili pot .
  6. Let cook down for 3 hours or desired consistancy serves 6 to 10 hungry people at least. goes great with crackers & cheese.
