Ingredients
- 32 ounces ground beef, thawed
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 3 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon minced onion
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano leaves
- 5 - large russet potatoes, cubed
- 16 ounces pkg baby carrots
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup water
How To Make caribbean hamburg stew

Step 1mix salt and all the spices in bowl until blended. For the red pepper, add to taste if preferred. Add oil to spice mixture and stir to make a seasoning paste.

Step 2Stir in lime juice to spice mixture and blend well.

Step 3Mix spice mixture and hamburg together in bowl. Put meat in bottom of crock pot. Layer carrots, then layer peeled potatoes on top.

Step 4Mix soy sauce with water, then add to mixture in crockpot.

Step 5Set crockpot to high and timer to 5 hours, 30 minutes. Do not remove lid while cooking. Do stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Step 6When done, serve as you would beef stew or other dish.
