This has just the right amount of spice and sweetness to this rub, it is simple and easy to make. I used this rub on a Flat Iron Steak, however, I am sure it could be used on any other meats. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    cajun seasonings
  • 2 Tbsp
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    white or cider vinegar
  • 1 lb
    flat iron steak

How to Make Cajun Rub

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine first five items, mix well. I used these measurements for a small cut of meat, however, it is easy to adjust for a larger cut.
  2. Rinse your meat and pat dry. Rub mix all sides of your meat, cover with plastic wrap and let sit for about 20 minutes.
  3. Light your outdoor grill and grill until desired doneness. We prefer medium. For the 1 pound Flat Iron Steak, it took about 20 minutes to grill.
