This is one of my favorite casseroles. Easy, cheap, and low cal. Although its really good to eat with soft dinner rolls smothered in butter! So lo cal doesn't really count then does it? lol Hope you give it a try.

Ingredients

  • 1 - head of cabbage, chopped up in bite sized pcs
  • 1 cup minute rice
  • 1 - large yellow onion, chopped roughly
  • 2 cans condensed tomato soup mixed with 1 cup of water
  • 1 pound fried hamburger

How To Make cabbage casserole

  • Step 1
    Spray Pam in casserole dish, layer ingredients in dish. Cabbage, onion, rice, fried hamburger, soup.
  • Step 2
    Cover and bake 350 degrees for 45min-1hr or until cabbage is tender. Salt and pepper to taste on the plate...I skip the salt but like the pepper! My husband likes to add butter to his as well.
  • Step 3
    Serve with buttered rolls. So delish!
