Ingredients
- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons better than beef bouillon
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 16 sliced provolone cheese
- 8 italian rolls

Step 1Place the onions on the bottom of a slow cooker. Place the roast on top of the onions. Mix the remaining ingredient except cheese & bread together and pour over the roast. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

Step 2Remove the beef and shred. Strain the cooking liquid through a fine mesh strainer then place in a fat separator.

Step 3Place two slices of Provolone cheese on the bread. Add the meat. Serve with the strained degreased cooking liquid as dipping sauce
