  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/3 c
    green onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/3 c
    pineapple preserves
  • 1/3 c
    barbecue sauce
  • 6
    pineapple slices
  • 6
    hamburger buns, toasted

How To Make burgers glazed with barbecue-pineapple sauce

    In a large bowl or food processor, combine beef, onions, worcestershire sauce, and pepper. Mix well, but do not over mix. Shape beef into 6 1-inch patties.

    In a small saucepan, add preserves and barbecue sauce over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.

    Place patties on the grill above medium coals. Grill, uncovered, until desired doneness turning and brushing often with pineapple/bbq sauce.

    Place pineapple slices on the grill - grill 1 minute, turning once.

    Place patties on toasted buns and top with a grilled pineapple slice.
