- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/3 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup pineapple preserves
- 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
- 6 pineapple slices
- 6 hamburger buns, toasted
How To Make burgers glazed with barbecue-pineapple sauce

Step 1In a large bowl or food processor, combine beef, onions, worcestershire sauce, and pepper. Mix well, but do not over mix. Shape beef into 6 1-inch patties.

Step 2In a small saucepan, add preserves and barbecue sauce over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.

Step 3Place patties on the grill above medium coals. Grill, uncovered, until desired doneness turning and brushing often with pineapple/bbq sauce.

Step 4Place pineapple slices on the grill - grill 1 minute, turning once.

Step 5Place patties on toasted buns and top with a grilled pineapple slice.
