Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 package 14 oz smoked sausage
- 4 hoagie rolls
- CRANBERRY KETCHUP
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup red onion chopped
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 6 whole sundried tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
How To Make burger wrapped sausage with cranberry ketchup

Step 1In a bowl combine all the ingredients except the sausage and hoagie buns. Mix well

Step 2Open the sausage and cut each sausage in half. Wrap the ground beef mixture around the sausage. Cook in a large skillet turning often until burger is no longer pink. Place in hoagie bun and cover with cranberry ketchup

Step 3For the ketchup. Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil reduce to simmer and simmer 15 minutes. Let cool then add to a food processor. Process until well incorporated. Push through a fine mesh strainer pushing the solids to extract all the flavors. Discard the solids.
