Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sirloin steak
  • 1/3 cup cup worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • - juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • - sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms (any kind)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup cream sherry
  • 1/2 cup beef stock
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard

How To Make bunyan's diabetic grilled sirloin steak with mushroom sherry sauce

  • Step 1
    Combine Worcestershire sauce, garlic, lemon juice, ginger and salt and pepper
  • Step 2
    pour over steak and marinate for several hours
  • Step 3
    Grill steak over medium-high heat until done to your liking
  • Step 4
    Meanwhile saute mushrooms in olive oil
  • Step 5
    add sherry, beef broth and dry mustard and continue cooking for about 5 minutes more
  • Step 6
    Pour sauce over cooked steak and serve.
