Ingredients
- 1 1/2 - 2 pounds round steak
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 - onion, sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 cups beef boullon (or both)
- 1 tablespoon steak sauce (or catsup)
- 2 tablespoons dry white wine
- 1/4 pound fesh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- - rice or noodles
How To Make budget beef stroganoff (crock pot recipe)

Step 1Cut Steak into 1/4 inch strips. Coat with salt and pepper.

Step 2Drop into bottom of crock pot with onion.

Step 3Mix garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce, bouillion (or broth) and steak sauce (or catsup). Pour over meat.

Step 4Cover and cook on low for 6 - 8 hours or until tender.

Step 5Turn control to high, add wine and mushrooms.

Step 6Dissolve flour in small amount of water. Add to meat mixture stirring until blended.

Step 7Cook on high for 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in sour cream; turn off heat.

Step 8Serve with rice or noodles. (We like it with the No Yolk Noodles.
