Ingredients
- 2 - beef flank or round steaks
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons oregano
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 - garlic cloves, crushed
How To Make broiled steak

Step 1Each flank steak should weigh between 1 and 1 1/2 pounds.

Step 2Place beef steaks in shallow glass or plastic dish.

Step 3Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the beef.

Step 4Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours, turning occasionally.

Step 5Set oven control to broil.

Step 6Place beef on rack in broiler pan.

Step 7Broil with the tops about 3 inches from the heat until brown, about 5 minutes.

Step 8Turn beef and broil about 5 minutes longer.

Step 9Cut beef in thin strips across the grain of the meat.

Step 10Serve with tortillas and guacamole if desired.
