broccoli beef squares
Here is another family favorite handed down from my mother in law. Good enough for company and trust me they request it!

Ingredients
- CRUST
- 2 cups all purpose baking mix
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- FILLING
- 1-1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups mushrooms, fresh (chopped coarsely)
- 2 - 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 box broccoli, frozen
- TOPPING
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 medium eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
How To Make broccoli beef squares

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Step 2Spray 9 X 13" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray

Step 3Grate 3 cups of cheddar cheese and thaw 1 pkg of frozen broccoli

Step 4Mix crust ingredients together and pat into baking dish and up the sides about 1/4"

Step 5Brown ground beef then add rest of ingredients for filling

Step 6Pour beef and cheese mixture over crust and even out with a spatula

Step 7Sprinkle frozen broccoli evenly over top of beef mixture

Step 8Beat together topping ingredients and pour over beef mixture

Step 9Bake for 25 - 30 minutes until edges are golden brown

Step 10Cut into squares and serve. Great leftover and easy to freeze
