Ingredients

6-8 lb
beef brisket
1 Tbsp
kosher salt
1 Tbsp
pepper, freshly ground
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 pkg
onion soup mix
3 Tbsp
soy sauce
3/4 c
water

Step-By-Step

1Brush brisket with soy sauce.
2Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
3Broil fat side up until seared.
4Spread soup on top and moisten with 1/4 cup water.
5Pour remaining water into pan.
6Roast at 325 degrees for 4 hours, basting every half hour, turning every hour and adding additional water to pan as needed.
7Allow brisket to set before carving.
