Ingredients
- 6-8 pounds beef brisket
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper, freshly ground
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3/4 cup water
How To Make brisket

Step 1Brush brisket with soy sauce.

Step 2Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Step 3Broil fat side up until seared.

Step 4Spread soup on top and moisten with 1/4 cup water.

Step 5Pour remaining water into pan.

Step 6Roast at 325 degrees for 4 hours, basting every half hour, turning every hour and adding additional water to pan as needed.

Step 7Allow brisket to set before carving.
