1Cut stew meat (or cut you prefer) into small cubes.
2Put oil into large fry pan and saute the onions and garlic until soft and glassey. Add the beef cubes and saute until meat has lightly browned, add tomato sauce, water, salt, sugar mustard and pepper.
3Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours stirring occasionally. Add more water if needed. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice with a side vegetable.
