Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon dried italian herbs
  • 1 cup beef broth

How To Make bolognese sauce

  • Step 1
    In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat, stirring constantly to break up the meat, then drain off any fat.
  • Step 2
    Add the tomatoes and their juices, the herbs, broth and sea salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 45- to 55 minutes, or until most of the liquid has evaporated and the sauce is nice and thick.
  • Step 3
    Tip; Cook once, eat twice; Make a double batch of this yummy sauce. Serve it over pasta one. then spread of puff pastry with sauce, cover the fresh spinach and grated Parmesan cheese or other cheeses, roll slice and bake in a 400F oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and puffed. Get some buns use the sauce and put some cheese on top you have Sloppy Joes with salad or fry's.
