This recipe is a family favorite and it is dear to me because my neighbors grandson will not eat home cooking he only wants junk food but when i make tacos he eats 3. And his grandmother be so proud of him.

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 can(s)
    black beans drained
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 2 c
    shredded lettuce
  • 1 1/4 c
    mexican blend shredded cheese
  • 1 c
    mild salsa
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 1 pinch
    salt and pepper
  • 1 pkg
    taco shells

How to Make Black Bean Tacos


  1. place ground beef in skillet add salt and pepper cook until no longer pink.(drain)Return to skillet, add black beans,taco seasoning, and 1 cup water simmer 10 minutes. Heat taco shells in oven for about 5-6 minutes. Stuff shells with lettuce, meat, salsa,sour cream and cheese. Serve warm
