biscuit and beef cups

I've made this recipe for 30 years, it's one of my family's favorites.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium green pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (17oz) refrigerated biscuits

How To Make biscuit and beef cups

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400°F. Brown ground beef, bell pepper and onion in a medium skillet; drain, Stir in barbecue sauce and brown sugar; mix until thoroughly combined. Remove from heat.
  • Step 2
    Place one biscuit in each of 8 greased muffin cups, pressing the dough up the sides to the edge of the cup.
  • Step 3
    Spoon beef mixture into cups and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 12 minutes, or until biscuits are golden and cheese is melted.
