Ingredients

  • 1 cup chili (canned or homemade)
  • 4 slices texas toast
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 - hamburger patties, cooked
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped

How To Make big tex chili-cheese stack

  • Step 1
    Toast the bread until lightly browned.
  • Step 2
    Heat chili.
  • Step 3
    For each serving, place one slice of toast on a plate. Top with one of the hamburger patties and 1/4 cup of the chili.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle each serving with some of the cheese and chopped onion.
  • Step 5
    To melt the cheese, bake for about 10 minutes in a 300F oven, or microwave for about 45 seconds.
