betty's complete meal creamy stroganoff
Creamy groundbeef, mushrooms, bacon and cannellini beans with peas. A cheap and cheerful meal that cooks in 20 minutes. Not a traditional stroganoff, but delicious and fantastic for busy nights. The leftovers reheat beautifully the next day. I hope you enjoy this as much as our family do.

Ingredients
- oil
- 1 onion, diced small
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 8 - 12 mushrooms, sliced
- 4 - 6 bacon rashers, diced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 can cannellini beans, well rinsed
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 - 3/4 cups sour cream (I use low fat)

Step 1In a large skillet, heat a little oil. Add the onion and soften. Add the garlic and saute 1 minute.

Step 2Add the meat and brown while breaking up any large clumps.

Step 3Add the mushrooms and bacon. Cook for about 2 minutes and add the garlic, cook until fragrant.

Step 4Add everything soup and tomato paste. Stir until well combined.

Step 5Add the peas, beans and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 6Remove from the heat and stir through sour cream. Serve with your choice of cards.
