betty crocker hamburger onion pie
This recipe is from an old (maybe 1950's) Betty Crocker Bisquick recipe that came on the side of the box. The copy I have from my Mom was cut out from the box with the picture. There is no date on it but Betty is dressed 1950-1960's style I think.

Ingredients
- 1 cup bisquick
- 1/3 cup light cream or half and half
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 - medium onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon accent
- 2 tablespoons bisquick
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
- - paprika, to sprinkle on top of pie
How To Make betty crocker hamburger onion pie

Step 1Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix Bisquick and cream well with fork. Knead gently 10 times on surface lightly dusted with Bisquick. Roll dough into a circle to fit 9 inch pie pan. Ease dough into pan and fork edges. Saute beef and onions until meat has lost color. Add salt, pepper, Accent and 2 tablespoons Bisquick. Spread in a dough lined pie pan. Beat eggs slightly and blend with cottage cheese. Pour over meat. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 30 minutes. Cut into wedges.
