Tried and true recipe. So moist, juicy and tender. Truly the best brisket i've ever had! Great for holidays or for some serious comfort food

Ingredients

  • 6-7 pounds beef brisket
  • 2 jars mushroom gravy
  • 2 packages onion soup mix
  • 2 jars heinz ketchup (fill empty gravy jars)
  • 2 jars water (fill empty gravy jars)

How To Make best brisket recipe ever!

  • Step 1
    Preheat to 350 degrees
  • Step 2
    place brisket in a covered roaster
  • Step 3
    add onion soup mix to brisket
  • Step 4
    add both jars of gravy,
  • Step 5
    reuse jars and fill with ketchup and water
  • Step 6
    cover and cook for six hours (basting every half hour)
  • Step 7
    let stand for fifteen minutes
  • Step 8
    slice against the grain and ENJOY!!!
