This recipe came together after I had been injured and unable to get to the grocery store. I had these items on hand and decided to throw them together. I look forward to any variation of this recipe. I hope your family enjoys it as much as my family. Love and good eats y'all (yes I'm southern....hence the buttered bread to serve with this recipe)

Ingredients For bessler cat chow

1-2ground beef

1 canwhole kernel corn

1 canpeas
-
1 cdry quick cook rice

cansalt and pepper

garlic powder
How To Make bessler cat chow

1Follow cooking directions for rice. While that is going, brown ground beef in a 12" skillet add Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.

2Drain ground beef, drain corn and peas. Add meat back to skillet, add all other ingredients. Stir thoroughly. Heat until corn and peas are hot. Stirring frequently.

3Serve with buttered bread.
