You can changed this up multiple ways to make it spicier or less spicy as you need it or like it. Super easy!!! And goes great with Mexican Cornbread and some mashed potatoes!

How To Make beefy spanish rice
-
Step 1Add jalapeno and onion to skillet and let it cook for a couple of minutes. Then add your ground beef and brown it. Drain & return to skillet. Now I use a cast iron skillet for all my cooking - I just love my cast iron! Anyway - Then add your garlic and mix it in. Add tomatoes stir it in and then add your taco seasoning - (I don't add any water to this) Then I let it sit on low for about 3 minutes or so then I add the rice and hot sauce and salt and pepper to taste. After this you let it sit on low for an additional 2 or 3 minutes to marry in the hot sauce and then serve.

Step 2I usually serve this with mashed potatoes and some mexican cornbread. My family loves it! You can always add more peppers or more hot sauce or leave them out all together if you don't like the heat.
