Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1.5 c
    long grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of celery soup
  • 2 can(s)
    water

How to Make Beefy Rice Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground beef and onion; drain off fat.
  2. Put in greased 2 quart casserole.
  3. Add rice.
  4. Combine soups in mixing bowl; gradually stir in water until blended and smooth.
  5. Pour over rice.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or unti liquid has been absorbed and rice is tender.
  7. Makes 6 - 8 servings.
